Newsletter: For most people the beginning of a new year is the traditional time to rev up their engines and gather the energy for a change. It is a custom, it seems to begin each year on a new note, doing something differently, or being a different kind of person.
I have a friend who is a therapist, she has a sign in her office, one side says 'tradition gets in the way of progress', the other side says 'progress gets in the way of tradition.' You have to choose tradition or progress.
There are always aspects of ourselves which we would love to change, we sometimes recognize qualities and attitudes in others which we want to have ourselves, and we make an effort to do those things or be that type of person - then we fall back into our old ways again. It is easier to get back into the same old rut rather than change. Is that your tradition?
Over the years my clients have demonstrated quite clearly to me that change is not only possible at any time of the year, but that they are often more motivated after the end of January to come to grips with the year ahead. That is progress, and that is what I offer my clients. A simple, time tested method of moving along the road, because it is often easier to change as the year moves on. As you move on doing the same old things you wish you didn't do, then the motivation to change grows stronger. Your mind will release old recordings and old patterns so that you take action in your life, and there is no time to begin like the present. Take the first step in having the life you really want, and give yourself a wonderful new year, at any time, why not call and take the first step in a new tradition.
Best wishes

Newsletter: weight loss - management - hypnotherapy
I am happy that hypnotherapy is becoming more and more accepted as we continue to explore our minds. ‘Blink’ is a recent best seller which explains how the unconscious mind works behind closed doors. In other words we form opinions and make decisions unconsciously. I wonder if you have ever done anything and then wondered why you did it?
Our behavior is controlled by our unconscious mind, and although we might consciously want to make changes it seems we are powerless to help ourselves. Think about those negative patterns you want to change, overeating, drinking too much, smoking, feeling bad about a relationship which has ended, wanting to start something new but not having the confidence to make that first move. Hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming will assist you to make these changes effectively.
Please call or email for more information or to set up an appointment.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Sincerely,
Pamela
